Redmond Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to providing simple, decent, affordable housing to qualifying low-income families in the Redmond area so that they can improve both their lives and the community in which they share.

Our philosophy at the Redmond Affiliate is that the economically disadvantaged need capital, not charity, and co-workers, not caseworkers, in order to obtain a simple decent home in a decent community. The capital for building comes from gift and no-interest loans.

These donations are made by individuals, churches, corporations and foundations. We achieve our mission in partnership through our faith, volunteers, donors and families.

The Green-Hagerman Home

In early October, Redmond Habitat for Humanity broke ground on the Green-Hagerman home located at 950 SW 27th St.

This will be a new home for Jodi Green and her two sons, George and Logan, and was made possible by a generous $15,000 donation from Wells Fargo. The house is currently (as of December 3rd) in the process of having siding installed.

We would like to thank a list of amazing contributors to this project for both their financial, in-kind, and physical contributions.

  • Wells Fargo for a $15,000 donation and a crew to pre-fab walls
  • Brian Webb of Brian Webb Construction for performing all of the concrete work from footings, stem walls to finish slab
  • Tim Stevens Plumbing for providing all of the plumbing
  • Dennis from Deluge Electric for providing all of the electrical
  • Roger Phillips of RPL Construction for construction services
  • Tom Curtis of Pristine Window Cleaners for excavation and grading
  • Home Depot
  • Lowes
  • Parr Lumber
  • If you are able to volunteer either labor or materials for fencing on this project, please contact our office at 541-548-1406.
