PIERCE HOME
The Pierce's Home
Dedication was held Sunday Aug. 17 at 2 p.m. The ceremonies were held in the garage of the home.
Opening prayer by Rev. Jim Gantenbein. Jim Erickson, President of RHfH, gave
the welcome and opening remarks,
telling the crowd about the long wait for the home, and invited everyone to
look at the photos of the house that was moved
onto the site and virtually had to be rebuilt. Presentation of a Bible was
done by Nena Close, VP.
Acknowledgements to the Donors and volunteers were made by Building.
Supervisor Larry Roshak. A poem was read by
Jerry Rogers; another presentation by Family partner Bruce Stewart, of Salt,
Bread and Wine (from the movie It's a Wonderful Life). Then the family spoke
and thanked everyone for their hard work. About 40 people were in attendance. Then the
house was opened to show & tell!
